In Good+ to near VG [or better] condition: displays uniform age browning/ toning as typical, light scattered spotting or foxing, light edge wear, a small institutional rubber stamp mark, and could have small edge splits which have been carefully and almost invisibly repaired on verso; overall the image remains clean and very attractive. Any defects may hopefully be clearly seen in the images. Text on verso as issued-This is an original printed sheet from this scarce 19th century American periodical. Thus, it has printing on the back, which is the only way this image can be acquired other than perhaps as a modern reprint. Please examine the scan closely as it forms the central part of the description. There is a zoom feature so you can see close up. [note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws]. Great image entirely worthy of hanging for display.
